Luna

Hello, my name is Luna, I am only 10 months old and I will tell you a sad story.

A family adopted me, but they didn’t really care about me, I felt no love at all. I wasn’t part of the family. One day my adopter’s house was broken into and they tied me to a 1 meter rope outside in the garden to use me as an “alarm”. Whenever my adopter was not home, whenever I barked, her mother would come outside and hit me with a stick because I had to be quiet.

Hope for Homeless heard about the abuse I was experiencing and they contacted my adopter. They saved me and now I am here in the shelter and luckily I am doing much better. . I am no longer tied up and no longer beaten if I bark. The volunteers play with me and hug me too, now I finally feel what love can be like… I love cuddling very much. I love children and get along well with other dogs. All I need is a family to take care of me and let me be their best friend. Will you be the one?
